• Opius is not an "alcohol removed" spirit. Our recipes and techniques were especially designed by our Master Distiller to be non-alcoholic from the ground up.
• Nice to know: in our 4-step production process, the fermentation phase occurs before the hydro-distillation process, which is why we don't have any traces of alcohol.

• Opius is a natural product — much like wine. Sediment in our elixirs is therefore completely normal.
• This occurs due to the high concentration of natural herbs & botanicals used in our process. We only filter once to preserve as much flavor as possible.
• Clumping happens faster in cold environments, which is why we recommend storing the bottles at room temperature in the backbar (although refrigeration won’t harm the product).
• Give the bottle a good shake to dissolve any sediment or clumps.

• Yes - and no! Although it can be used as a spirit replacement, Opius is fundamentally different in its nature. Unlike most competitors, we're not a “spirit”, but an "aroma" or "elixir" that can be added to drinks & food.

• GABA (or gamma-aminobutyric acid) is a compound found in nearly all life on earth.
